Barb Porter, Stylist/colorist - Staff Bios

 

 

 I was born in Warsaw, Poland. My parents relocated and I was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. When I got married, my husband's job moved us around a lot and we ended up in Tampa and love it here, no more moving!  I graduated from The Salon Professional Academy as a Redken Specialist. I attended many classes including a color immersion course with Redken artisit Patrick Fitzwater and a design and hair cutting class with Redken platform artist Hugo Urias. These are just the tip of the iceberg of classes I have attended. Education is very important to me because I want to please every guest in my chair. I specialize in mens and womens precision haircutting, texturizing and dry techniques, highlighting, lowlighting, flat iron work, and Brazilian Keratin treatments.
